Prof. Mathieu Weggeman (Netherlands)

Mathieu (Paul) Weggeman is Professor of Organization Science. He obtained a master degree in Industrial Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology and holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Tilburg University.His primary expertise lies in the field of organisational design, innovation management and workprocesses in knowledge-intensive organizations. Mathieu Weggeman served on the editorial board of Organization Studies and has published in R&D Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Change Management and many other journals.Prior to joining Eindhoven University of Technology Dr. Weggeman worked as a management consultant for Philips Research and for the Executive Committee of Philips Electronics. He also worked and still works as a consultant advising international firms on strategy development, R&D management, and the (re)design of knowledge intensive organizations.

Berry Veldhoen (Netherlands)

B erry (1959) is management scientist and active as business innovator for more than 25 years. Following a number of management positions (with focus on logistics) he became general director of Bolesian, a start-up in the area of knowledge engineering. This company became part of Cap Gemini, where Berry held the position of director Advanced Technology Services. In 1997, Berry co-founded Altuïtion, specialized in Commercial Innovation and Customer Experience Management, in which the (emotional) customer experience plays a central role. With the introduction of the Customer Journey - ESPE (Emotional Service & Process Engineering) as well as the deployment of the 9+ MOVE organisation model, Altuïtion became ‘top-of-mind’ for many organisations, active in both B2C and B2B.
